Al-Amal ("Hope"): the Arab world's first interplanetary probe, images the full Martian disk to study climate and atmospheric escape.
Main objectives
- Measure atmospheric escape to space: H and O in the upper atmosphere.
- Connect the lower (weather) and upper (exosphere) Martian atmosphere.
- Establish the first global picture of Martian atmospheric circulation.
- Observe Deimos from high orbit during the extended mission.
